Our family update FINALLY!!

I guess its time to update on our little family now!! Lets see.... David is still working full time and going to school.... he starts his PTA program this year and he is way excited!! He has been fixing a couple cars in his spare time and putting up with his wife wanting to repaint every room in the house ha ha!! He is the best hubbie EVER!!!
Skyler is getting bigger every day he is a 3 year old going on 12!!! He thinks he is a big kid!! He has recently learned how to play a few games on the xbox.... Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman and Lego Indiana Jones.... and surprisingly he's actually really good at it!! He loves his little brother and sister and is alwayz wanting to help out (okae not alwayz....) He LOVES to make Brexlyn laugh...
Gaige just turned two in November and believe me his is definiatly a 2 year old!!! He pretty much thinks he is invinsible (sp?) he climbs on anything and everything and if its high enough to jump off of you can bet he's doing jus that!!! He is ALL boy!! He also loves making his sissy laugh!!
Brexlyn is now 6 months old and she sits up by herself, rolls, babbles, laughs, gives kisses and loves to smile!! We recently started her on baby food... which she thinks she is a lizard and sticks her tongue out and licks the spoon... yes she is crazy!!! She loves sweet potatoes and bananas so far!! She is also teething and I think her bottom teeth will be here VERY SOON!!! She thinks her two crazy maniac big brothers are the funniest things in the world!! She  loves to laugh on her daddy and fall asleep!! She is such a blessing in our lives... she scared us at first but now she is a very happy healthy baby!!!
As far as I go.... I am still watching kids.... going on my fourth year!!! It has its happy moments and its very frustrating moments but for the most part i really enjoy it!! I recently started and online course to become a medical transcriptionist (Davids mom was one and loved it!!!) I am still doing hair in my basement and still making bows!!! In October I put in a application to sell my crafts at Quilted Bear  and in December I finally heard back from one of them so I now sell Bows, Toddler belts, headbands, tutus nursing covers and wind covers for carseats at the Quilted Bear in Provo as of January 1ST!!!!!!!! Its a new and exciting adventure!!!
Anyways... we are all happy and healthy here at the Joos house but I better go put my 3 greatest blessings in my life to BED!!!

2010 has come and gone SO FAST!!

Hey Everyone!!! ha ha yes we are still all alive and kicking!!! Wow where to begin.... ummm.... Thanksgiving was GREAT!! We all stuffed our faces and then wished we hadn't ha ha!! David and I have made it our tradition for the last couple years to go out with the rest of the crazies to do some shopping the day after thanksgiving!! Skyler is at the age now that he can tell us exactly what he wanted for christmas and this year he wanted "lego star wars" and batman and robin!!! So David and I were on a mission to find these toys!! We went to Wal mart at midnight and then to Kohls at 5!! We pretty much got all our gifts from kohls, oh how i love that store!! We went to a couple other stores that day too and by the time we were finished I was beyond EXHAUSTED!!! I'm so grateful i have such wonderful parents who watched my boys while we went on our hunt for the best toys for our kids!! (We took Brexlyn with us since she is still attached to mommie every 2-3 hours ha ha).
Christmas was a blast this year with a 3 and a half year old and a two year old things were kinda noisy and messy but i loved every minute of it!! Christmas was hard for my parents this year becuz all their kids were gone... Cody and Sue are in Washington with their two soon to be three beautiful children (Kaiden and Kyleigh and baby).... Rachelle and Scott were in Boise with his family this year.... and the baby of the family Austin is on a mission in California (and loving every minute of it).... so we invited them to our house to watch the kids open their gifts which i think they enjoyed very much!! At first it was calm and then once the boys realized how much fun it was to open presents they pretty much just tore right thru every present under the tree and the ones my parents brought over!! ha ha they didn't care if it was theirs or not they jus kept going til all the gifts were opened... and YES my kids are SPOILED ROTTEN!!! (i'll post pictures and you can see for yourself) David and I didn't buy too much for each other this year becuz we bought ourselves a new bed not too long before Christmas so we decided that our brand new KING size bed was our christmas!! Although I totally found the cutest bed set for our room!!! and i got it for such a good deal!!! Its black and white Zebra print with giraffe print also!!! I totally love it!! it fits our bed perfectly!! Christmas time is alwayz a busy time for us.... Christmas eve this year we spent at my grandmas and then davids grandparents and then we went home to finish a few things and then off to bed.... Christmas we woke up and spent the morning with my mom and dad and then we went to their house to talk to Austin on Skype (which the kids really enjoyed.... Skyler misses his uncle Austin very much... Gaige was only 13 months old when he left so he doesn't know him to well) it was really good to see him... although it makes us miss him even more... after we went to the church house with davids extended family and then to his dads house for that get together and then we went to David's grammies for dinner and socializing!!! By the time we got home Christmas night we were ALL ready for bed!!! But all in all Christmas is alwayz an enjoyable time!!

Wow I’m so behind on my blog its sickening!!..... okae so I need to update you all on what’s been happening at the Joos house…. Well on June 15th we welcomed our beautiful baby gurl. Brexlyn was born after 10 pm she weighed 6 lbs 1 oz and was 19 inches long!! She was born with a full head of hair and big beautiful eyes!! She was 24 days early and becuz she was so little and early she had to spend a week in the NICU. (I never ever want to do that again) She was breathing too fast so she had to learn how to breath normal. For the first couple days she had oxygen and an IV in her head it was the worst thing ever I hated going in to visit her and not be able to pick her up and love her. She was born on a Tuesday and was not allowed to eat until Thursday and I was not actually allowed to nurse her until that Sunday so I had to spend most of my days pumping so I didn’t lose my milk supply!! Good thing the hospital had such great pumps!! Ha ha if only I was rich I’d own one of those hospital pumps!! Anyways she came home on her one week birthday… it was totally unexpected… David and I had spent her first week of life going back and forth to the hospital every 2 or 3 hours to feed her. But on the day she came home we went in for our normal 3 hour feeding and the NICU doctor came in and checked on her and checked her vitals and said we could take her home!! Oh I was so stinking excited!! The first time I got to hold my baby gurl was when she was almost two days old and daddy and I were the only ones who were allowed to hold her everyone else was only allowed to look at her. The worst part about all this was that Skyler and Gaige hadn’t even seen their new baby sister until the Sunday after she was born and even then they were only allowed to see her thru the glass window. It was so sad and they just didn’t understand the whole situation. My sister was the first one of our families to hold her!! She thought that was pretty cool!! Life did not feel normal after Brexlyn was born I feel like I’ve been playing catch up ever since then… its finally starting to get back to normal and she is almost 4 months old!! We are so blessed that Brexie was only in the hospital for a week some of those babies in there had been there for days, weeks and even months!! I was such an emotional wreck I don’t know if I could’ve handled her being in there any longer than she was. I was so greatful to my sister and her husband who helped us out so very much with our boys and the kids that I watch!! My mom and dad tried to go see Brexlyn in the hospital every chance they had!! I am so very greatful for such a supportive family. David’s poor dad was in the hospital at the time that we had Brexlyn except he was at a different one. So he was not able to see Brexlyn for awhile.


Skyler is getting bigger every day and he acts like he is 5 not 3!! He is such a good big brother to both his sister and his brother!! He is mommies little helper, most of the time if I ask him to get me something he will happily get it for me!! He loves to watch Toy story a million times. He has decided he wants to be Buzz for Halloween!!

Gaige will be two in November, but he acts like he is bigger than he really is!! He is such a talker now… Gaige’s newest game he likes to play is the “I love you more” game!! He still thinks he is the funniest stinker ever!! He is in nursery with Skyler and really enjoys it!! Gaige enjoys being a big brother too!!

Brexlyn is almost 4 months old and loves to smile and coo. She likes to lay on the floor and kick and talk!! She keeps trying to sit up by herself which I’m trying to convince her that she is still too little!! She finally started to gain weight and weighs a little over ten pounds.

David has been super busy with school and work. For his EARLY birthday present we bought him a Mazda Mita so he’s been working on that fixing it up and redoing things on that. Me… eh…. I’ve just been being a mommie and taking care of my 3 beautiful children and my wonderful husband… you know just the normal mommie and wife duties… cleaning cooking laundry diaper changing baby feeding ect… plus I’m still watching kids and now I’m going into business with this company by the name of world ventures… I’ll explain more about it later… and I’m trying to get my crafts accepted to quilted bear… so on top of being a wife and mom I am trying to start two business which I know will be successful if I work on them!! Oh and I chopped all my hair off after almost 24 years and I love it!!

But on top of everything we are trying to sell our house so we can move closer to David’s school since he’ll be there for AWHILE… well I think I am updated finally… ha ha for now!!

OOPS!!

So I seriously have the worst case of OCD I swear.... I can not stand to have my house dirty or to have clothes that I know either need to be washed or dried or folded or hung up just sitting in piles. So, dumb ME I think I need to get it ALL done within a day or two instead of spreading out and doing a little bit each day.... which is what I should be doing especially since I am almost 7 months pregnant now... well the week before Skylers birthday I decided to do some MEGA house cleaning and to do about a dozen or more batches of laundry plus plan a birthday party and make sure things were ready for Easter and I landed myself in Labor and Delivery last wednesday becuz I started contracting!!! Luckily, they weren't strong enough to do anything besides take my breath away... I really should be careful since I already kno that I dilate WAY early and I really don't need  to have this baby that early!! So I was very happy that baby was healthy and that I was okay to go home... I was just told to drink LOTS of water and to slow down or I'm going to be in trouble... ha ha I'm trying but like I said thats hard for me... I'm like the energizer bunny I keep going and going and going!! Although I can't help it when I'm chasing like 6 kids and a 4 month old!! Plus my house has a pretty nice set of stairs!!
So other than our lovely trip to the hospital things here at the Joos house are GREAT!! David is still as busy as ever going to school and working full time. Skyler is learning more and more things every day... he is such a smart kid I love that I can carry a conversation with him and understand the whole thing!! We are teaching him his shapes and how to count better... he already knows his colors and he can get himself completely undressed and dressed himself which he is very proud of himself for doing!! His new favorite thing to do is talk to daddy on the phone... i'll let him call David at work once in a while to talk to him. (David enjoys it too) Gaige is getting over his second ear infection in the last month plus he has been getting his molars so he has been kindof a huge grump the last couple weeks... he is growing like a weed too... he is learning new words and loves to get in to trouble!! he seriously thinks he is a monkey he climbs on EVERYTHING!!! He has been super attached to his daddy lately too... he'll walk around the house yelling for him even if he isn't home and he knows he's not home... he's a nut case!! Skyler and Gaige are hooked to eachother!! They love to tease eachother and wrestle with each other, but they also like to sit and play or read books together!! they are going to be best buds for ever I think. Our little gurl is growing and developing great!! She gets the hiccups at least 50 times a day I swear!! She likes to see how far she can push my tummy out in all different directions too. She is VERY active!! Especially at nights when I am laying in bed trying to sleep!! I love being pregnant I love all the fun feelings it comes with!! We can't wait to meet our little princess in 12 weeks or less!!  We did just add a new member to our family this weekend tho... we bought a Malimute/Husky/Border Collie mix 8 week old puppy from a family in Idaho!! He is the cutest puppy ever!! My parents bought his sister and they agreed to pick up our puppy too so they drove to idaho to pick up the pups and brought them home saturday.... We finally decided on a name for him after calling him puppie for the last couple days..... we named him "Moglie" like the little boy off of Jungle Book.... Moglie is such a good little puppie... although saturday night he whined and cried ALL night long!!! Last nite wasn't as bad he didn't do too bad... he's warming up to us and his new life here at our house!! Gaige loves him he likes to let him lick his hands its cute... Skyler isn't too sure about him just yet but he's alwayz been my more nerves one.... he loves to talk to him and give him treats. I think he'll warm up here soon tho. David and Moglie are already becoming great buddies... david is attached to that puppie and the puppie follows him every where.... ha ha I am such a lucky woman!! I am headed to bed now tho... i'm exhausted and 5 am comes really fast!! I'll post pix very soon!!

Skyler turns 3

On Saturday April 3rd Skyler turned 3 years old!! I can't believe he is already three it makes me sad that my little boy is getting so stinking big!!  We took him to treehouse for the morning of his birthday, he loves that place. Skyler got mega mega spoiled for his birthday too... he loves Toy Story so for his birthday David and I bought him a BIG Buzz and Woody and then a littler Buzz, Woody, Jessie and Zurg. He got lots of Toy Story toys and books and coloring books too, plus he got lots of other stuff too... David had stayed up all night the night before blowing and hanging up balloons (yes i was exhausted and fell asleep with the boys while he decorated... oops!!) he put them all over the walls in our basement and then saturday morning went and bought him some floating ones!! It was so cute while David was gone getting the other balloons the boys woke up and saw all the balloons and Skyler kept saying "NO WAY DADDY GOOD JOB!!" ha ha he did do a good job!! That is Skylers new saying every time he'd open a present he'd say "No Way" it was funny!! We had a great turn out!! The food was yummy and the kids had a blast!! especially in our blow up boxing ring that we had blown up out in our back yard!! We also did a pinata and played pin the tail on the donkey!! All in all I think he had a great birthday!! I'll have to post pictures of his cake and the treehouse!!

Holy how time flies!!

Geez.... where to begin.... hmm... we'll just start with the beginning of the year... so far 2010 has been a really great year... we'll begin with January.... I decided since Skyler was getting super close to turning 3 that it was time to start the POTTY TRAINING fun so on January 4th I began the adventure and he did REALLY well the first day he had 4 accidents and then the next 3 or 4 days he was making it thru the day with only one, and by Sunday he was completely potty trained!! He was so beyond ready to be potty trained I think he needed that little push. Gaige even thought he needed to be potty trained too. Ha ha he was only 14 months tho so I was not ready for him to be that big yet. We also got to see my older brother Cody for a couple days while he was home for R&R. We alwayz have such a blast with him and his little family!!
February... was a great month too David and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. (I can't believe its already been 4 years) For our anniversary we had my parents watch the boys and we went to dinner and then went and played at Boondocks. That place is SO addicting!! Anywayz.... we were suppose to find out the sex of baby number three in February but my wonderful doctor decided for some strange reason she needed to take a vacation... ha ha just kidding I have the greatest doctor ever!! She really is the BEST!! February wasn't too eventful...
Now on to March.... On march 3rd we found out that baby number 3 is a GURL!!! We are so stoked!!! I've alwayz known it was a gurl the second the test said "pregnant" I knew it was a gurl. Especially after we told Skyler that mommie had a baby in her tummy he started talking about his baby sister... its amazing how much kids know... they are still so close to the veil. Skyler loves to go to the doctor "to see" his baby sister. He alwayz talks to her and kisses my belly, and since big brother does it Gaige has to do it too!! I LOVE IT!!! The boys are so excited to meet their baby sister!! David was worried that it would be another boy and that I would hate him or something. He makes me laugh!! I kept telling him that all I wanted was a happy healthy baby and that the gender was the least of my worries... ha ha but he still wasn't convinced!! He is SO excited to meet his little gurl!! Although he is worried he is not going to know what to do with a little gurl. I'm pretty sure it won't take him long at all to figure it out tho!! She is going to have her daddy wrapped around her little finger!! I think that just about catches us up!!

The last of 2009!!

Wow you don't realize how fast time flies until you look at your blog and its been over 2 months since you last updated it!! HA HA!! I'm a loser!! JK!!! So much has happened since I last posted anything.... we will start with where I ended last year....

Gaige turned ONE on November 7th!!! We had a party for him which was so much fun!! I made home made Chili for the very first time and it turned out so yummy!! I was very proud of myself!!! Gaige was mega spoiled!! He got lots of fun toys and he enjoyed all the attention being on him!! He thinks he is the funniest thing ever!! David made his cake to be his favorite character which is mickey mouse and I do have pictures of it but i'll have to post them all later!!
Davids birthday was on the 13th of November and I think he had a good birthday... I can't exactly remember what we got him but I'm pretty sure it was tools and clothes... and I bought him a yummy ice cream cake cuz he had alwayz said for his birthday thats what he wanted... so guess what that's what he got!! Since mine and Davids birthdays are exactly 2 weeks apart we alwayz have a big family dinner to just celebrate both of ours together but now that we have Gaige we celebrate all THREE together!! Poor Skylers birthday is in April so his isn't close to ours really... but he is spoiled just like his little brother!! lets see the next thing was.... Thanksgiving which was fun too we went to my parents for lunch and then we went to Davids Grammies for dinner... we were so stuffed by the end of that day all I wanted to do was take a long NAP!!!
On December 10th my sister in law had her little gurlie Arissa Ann-Lynn Ritchie!! She is a very beautiful little gurl!! While Jess and Zack were in the hospital I had my little nephew Jayden (which is their 2 year old) him and Skyler act just like brothers most of the time.... and they fight just like brothers too!! They are such little stinkers but I love them!!! Jayden was super excited to see his new little sister he kept saying "I hold it!" ha ha we tried to convince him that she was a baby and to say "I hold HER" but it didn't really work!! Oh well they'll learn some day!!
Next I think would be Christmas and all I have to say is my boys are mega beyond spoiled rotten!! (you'll see later in the pix) Skyler for weeks kept saying that Santa was bringing him Buzz for christmas.... which was kind of my fault.... he had seen a commerical on the tv for the new Toy Story Game for the WII and said he wanted that and I being the smart one thinking he'd forget about it!!! OH NO he didn't!!! He remembered!!! We took the boys to Ogden Christmas village on the 23rd to see Santa and sure enough he asked him for his BUZZ GAME!!! Gaige did not like Santa at all!! He cried!! But oh well I think this year he will like him more (or just hate him even more). On Christmas morning Skyler and Gaige had to wake Daddy up so they could see what Santa brought and the first thing Gaige did was touch his big 5 foot Mickey Mouses nose!! It was so funny!! Skyler went straight for his big truck!! We spent some of that morning opening presents and seeing the stuff from Santa and then my parents came over to see what the boys got and to give us their gifts... after my family left we headed to Davids dads for more presents and then headed to the church with more of Davids family then we headed to his Grammies for dinner and even MORE gifts!! We finally got home late that nite and we were all exhausted!!! The holidays for us are ALWAYZ crazy!!! but we love it!! The sunday after Christmas was my little brother Austins mission farewell which was really fun!! He did an awesome job on his talk!! my mom made THE BEST pulled pork sandwiches EVER!!! they were heavenly!!! We had so many people come and see him it was awesome!! He left for the MTC on the 30th of December and he is officially now in Roseville California as of Wednesday!!(I think) He is going to be a wonderful missionary!! We are so proud of him!! I think that pretty much sums up the rest of 2009!!!

Happy Birthday to ME (last friday)

So I have to brag a little bit about my hubbie!!! He truly is the best EVER!! So friday was my birthday and I was suppose to have kids that day so we had decided David would just work that day since I would be doing the same anyways... so he told me that he had talked to his boss and he told me he was going to work the day shift instead of his normal swing shift (ugh!! He NEEDS a better job!!) but anyways so the kids I normally have on fridays ended up going with their mom to her work halloween party so I got my birthday off!! I was so excited but bummed all at the same time cuz my hubbie was working... well anyways.... Friday morning I woke up to David giving me a kiss goodbye and telling me he was headed to work... he left and I tried SOO hard to go back to sleep. First time I get to sleep in I can't!!! My body is too use to getting up early... Well about 20 minutes went by and I get a text from David telling me thathe was at work... it was 6:08 AM!! Day shift doesnt start 'til 7am!! So I asked him why he was there so early and apparently when he set his alarm the night before his clock wigged out and set the time for an hour ahead... so he was up at 5 AM!! I laughed a little... you would think that he would have noticed the time on his cell phone or the microwave or something... silly husband!! He was exhausted!! Well about an hour later he comes waltzing into our bedroom with a HUGE bouquet of balloons (which I should have taken a picture of before it got destroyed by my boys) and he had a GORGEOUS bouquet of flowers!! Gaige's eyes almost burst out of his eye sockets when he saw all the balloons it was so funny!! David made me breakfast.... Eggs, Bacon, Hashbrowns and Sunny D... it was so yummy... David actually fell asleep before he was able to eat his breakfast... I think that is why the Lord made women the moms because daddys just wear out fast ;)... David is always telling me "man, ash I don't know how you do what you do!" David and the boys bought me a cute pink shirt, some comfy pants, pink boot slippers, and as soon as I find tile that I like David is going to tile my washroom and hair cutting area!! I can't wait!! I also got a hair trolley for all my hair stuff and the childrens song book and hymns made easy piano books so I can start learning how to play the piano AGAIN!! Well anyways.... the rest of the day was busy, we were getting things ready for our halloween party!! Which was so much fun!! We made spiders, eyeballs, monster toes and lots of yummy other things... I do have pictures of the spiders, eyeballs, and monster toes I'll have to post them later... Also, on friday we took the boys to target to get their pictures done... which was a complete JOKE!! The chick didn't really know what she was doing and the boys were mega grumpy!! I think I am just going to stick with my AUNT even if she lives in Logan!! She is a million and one times better and my kids love her!! Well all in all my birthday was GREAT!! Thanx Sweetie I love you to pieces!!

Going insane!!

So I swear I am OCD!! I could spend hours cleaning and scrubbing and cleaning some more and I still feel like my house is never clean enough!! I actually annoy myself some times... I have to have my towels folded a certain way or it drives me crazy!! My clothes in my closet are color coordinated... which David makes fun of me for... The boys clothes have to be in a certain drawer and organized in their closets according to what they are... example... all onsies together, short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, church clothes ect.... I like all the toys in my house to have certain tupperwares... I can't stand JUNK!!! I keep trying to get rid of our stuffed animal collection that we have inherited over the last couple years we have been together. But, David won't let me he says we can't get rid of them because he WON them out of the machines at like wal mart and stuff... some of the stuffed animals he has won are U-G-L-Y!!! Maybe I am crazy but I can't stand filth!! anyways.....

Gaige took his FIRST steps last week!! He is getting too big!! I can't believe he turns 1 two weeks from Saturday!! And I am no where near ready for his party!! agh!! We are actually having a combined party for 3 of us... because my birthday is the 30th of this month and Gaige's is the 7th of November and David's is the 13th of November... we have a mega busy next couple of weeks... and we have NO stinking idea what to get Gaige for his birthday!! we have so many toys already... but whats a couple hundred more rite? I am so excited David got my shelf put up downstairs for the toys to be put on... I was sick to death of having the dumb things all over my floor (see my OCD kicking in again) it looks great now!! I'll have to post pictures.... now I need to figure out what color I want to paint our family room down stairs!! decisions decisions!! I will have to post the boys rooms too we painted them when we first bought our house a year and a half ago but we keep addint to them they are so stinking cute!! Skyler is lightening mcqueen all over and Gaige has baby looney tunes!!

Totally random and unimportant but I totally burned the crude out of my finger with a stupid hot glue gun... actually it was the glue that burned me... but I was making a bow for my wonderful friend Jessica Lagerquists (spelling?) little girl Emmery and stuck my finger in the HOT glue and now I have a huge blister!! It seriously burned for like 4 hours after!!

Well any who... I better go put my 2 and a half year old to bed since he thinks he needs to stay up all stinking nite!! NITE!!

TOY STORY 3D

So just this last Saturday we took Skyler and Gaige to see that Toy Story 1 &2 3D movie in Layton... Skyler LOVED it!! We were both amazed that he actually stayed awake thru the whole thing except for the last 15 minutes... He wasn't too sure about the glasses at first but he got used to them really fast... Gaige slept thru pretty much the whole thing which was okae with us... As for David and I we kept dozing off... Skyler loves Buzz and Woody so its constantly on at our house if its not Buzz and Woody it's Mike, Sulley and Boo, or Shrek and Donkey, or Mcqueen or Nemo... Skyler is funny because in Monsters Inc. Boo goes potty on the big potty so he alwayz tells me, "Mommie Boo potty big potty," and I alwayz tell him yes Boo goes on the big potty... we alwayz try to convince him to go like Boo does... some times it works anothers not so much... Oh kids are a blast!! Its so much fun being a mommie and being able to watch your kids grow up and watch their personalities mature... I wouldn't trade being a mommie for the world its the greatest calling a woman could ever have!! I'm sure all you mom's would agree with me 100% too... I mean it can be hard too but having your two and a half year old kiss you and say love you mommie or a 11 month old smile and give you sloppy kisses it melts your heart and you can't help but be the happiest person in the world!! Just remember when times get rough and you feel like your going to rip your hair out remember the happy moments!! life is hard but it could alwayz be harder!!

Life is Crazy!!

So I decided I really need to get better at this... I'm a slacker when it comes to updating our blog... Anyways... Everyone is doing pretty good... David is busy busy with going to school and working... Skyler is getting very very vocal!! He is starting to get a big attitude and he's only 2 1/2... he has started wanting to go on the big boy potty which is very exciting!! Skyler got one of those musical potties for his 2nd birthday (we bought it for him because one of david's buddies at work said it worked the best... NOT!!!) He absolutely hates the little potty... so a couple weeks ago I went and bought him a little seat that sits on the big potty and a stool so he could get on it by himself... we'll at first he didn't want anything to do with it because a couple months ago he watched daddy flush a dead fish down the toilet... (BIG MISTAKE) don't EVER let your two year old watch you do that!! He was afraid of the potty because he would tell me... "NO mommie fish get me!" I had to explain to him that the fish were NOT going to get him and when he understood that he got on and off the potty a million times I swear!! But to be honest I don't mind it because it means he's getting the concept.... potty training is SO much fun!! (Sarcasm!) Skyler loves to pick on his little brother already!! yay for mommie!!! Not!! He thinks Gaige is his wrestling companion... Gaige is getting to be a very big boy too!! He is 11 months old and already weighs almost 20 POUNDS!!! He is a chunk!! He's really not that big but compared to Skyler who didn't weigh 20 pounds til he was almost 2!! It's amazing how different each one of your kids are!! Anyways.... Gaige is learning to walk... we know he can walk he is just refusing too... we think its because he is such a fast crawler and when I saw fast I mean FAST!!! I call him our crazy crawler!! He likes to make faces at himself in the mirror its hilarious!! He is a jabber-jaw!! Gaige likes to play with the big boys... I love my boys more than life itself!! I couldn't ask for more perfect kids!! Its funny because Gaige will be 1 years old on the 7th of next month and every one is already asking when we are going to start trying for another one... and our answer is its ALL up to the lord really.... and they ask well are you hoping your next one is a girl? and I alwayz say I would LOVE to have a little girl but boys are fun too and I am happy with either one I just want happy healthy kids... besides we aren't stopping with 2 or 3 or even for kids we want a big family so I'm sure I'll get a girl sooner or later... besides at the moment I have one niece (soon to be two) to spoil and a few of my good friends have little girls so I will spoil them too... This last month I have been busy watching kids, cleaning our house, doing laundry, taking care of our boys and my husband, i've been trying to clean up our craft/weight room downstairs, and clean up my laundry/haircutting area too... David asked me what I wanted for my birthday thats at the end of this month and I told him all I want is for my haircutting area to be cleaned up organized and the floor to be tiled!! cement isn't all that exciting to stand on in bare feet!! Well every one is doing AWESOME here at the Joos house... (i'll post pictures soon)

Syracuse park by Weecare

A couple weeks ago David and I took our boys and went to the little toddler park by the syracuse Wee Care!! David's sister Jessica and little boy Jayden came with us too it was so much fun!! David absolutely loves being a dad and a uncle he played on all the toys with the boys and in the sand and took skyler and gaige each down the slide!! he is definitely still a kid at heart!! he loves kids!! I guess thats why we want quite a few of them!! ;)

But aparently I didn't save them all to my memory card in my phone so I will post the other ones later!! I have the best husband and boys EVER!! They all keep me on my toes!!

All is well!!

So the last thing I wrote about my dad was that he was in recovery from having his 4 surgery. Well, knock on wood so far he has been doing fantastic!! He is healing very well and we haven't had any more nasty episodes!! He actually flew with my mom and little brother Austin to help my sister in law Sue in Washington to get things taken care of and then to drive Sue's car back. My brother Cody is in the military so he has unfortunatly been deployed again!! So he survived the flight and 13 or 14 hour drive home!! It was such an awful thing watching my dad go thru SO much pain! I thank the lord every day for how blessed I am to have both my parents here on this earth with me still. I don't know how David does it some days!! I would be lost with out my Mom or Dad!! I know David misses his mom very much but also knows he will be able to see her again thanks to the plan of salvation and the atonement.

Logan Fun!!

On August 7th we were suppose to go to Bear Lake with my mom's family because EVERYONE of her 6 brothers and sisters families were in town. But, unfortunately some one said it was going to rain so we ended up going to my mom's oldest brother James' house... we still had a blast!! They had a dunk tank in the back yard and swings and a golf cart that they were pulling kids around on a sled thing. They had a little toddler pool out for Skyler and Kaiden my nephew... All the boys went clay pidgeon shooting, and paintballing which david said he had a blast doing and the girls stayed at the house and took care of the kids and did crafts.

This is my brother Cody's wife Sue and his son Kaiden... Kaiden and Skyler had been playing for hours and they were finally pooped!!

You can't really tell but this is David in the dunk tank!! it was the funniest thing, I was told to try and hit him in and I was like ya right me hit it. (the thing you had to hit is the red thing in the middle of the start.) Well I threw it once and missed and they told me to move a little closer so I did and guess what!? I HIT IT DEAD ON!!! I dunked my husband!! I said oh crap and ran inside and changed into my swimsuit because I knew he was gunna get me back as soon as he could and he did!! He threw me in the little kiddie pool!! We had so much fun!!

Roy Days Booth!!

So a couple weeks ago my friend and I did a booth for our bows that we make. Here is a few pictures from it... we had over 300 bows and flowers... we made every single one too... we are having so much fun!! I have SO many cute ideas...

Skyler also spent all night throwing up!! He was such a good little boy the whole time we were there. it was like 12 hours long.. it makes for a way long day when its so HOTT out side!!

Gaige is such a happy go lucky baby!! He spent all night the night before throwing up so I am amazed he was so happy!!
